Radio 4 Knitted in Morse Code

Radio 4 Morse code2

I knitted the message Radio 4 in Morse Code using combinations of knit stitches and purl stitches to represent dots, dashes and spaces. Once I worked out how I wanted to write the code in stitches, I then knitted it backwards so that the message could be read from left to right.

This created a lovely textured effect in my stocking stitch cowl pattern. It’s subtle, and I like the idea of knitting in Morse Code.
