Warm and comfortable, this cowl is easy to knit in garter stitch.
When finished it measures approx 26cm wide x 43cm high (10 inches x 17 inches).
You will need:
1 ball of grey double knit yarn.
1 ball of blue double knit yarn.
Knitting needles size 6mm (UK 4. US 10).
Method:
Cast on 60 stitches using the grey yarn.
Knit 26cm (10 inches) garter stitch in grey.
Change to the blue yarn.
Knit 26cm (10 inches) garter stitch in blue.
Bind off. Leave a long tail and use this to sew the edges together using a knitters needle or darning needle.
Sew the cowl with right sides together, stitch along the seam, then turn the cowl right sides out.
