Shades and textures of blue yarn are used to create this cosy cowl.
You will need:
Navy blue double knit yarn.
Demin blue double knit yarn.
Dark blue lace weight yarn.
Light blue lace weight yarn.
Knitting needles size 6mm (UK 4. US 10).
Method:
Cast on 30 stitches with the dark blue lace weight.
Knit 12cm (4.5 inches) garter stitch.
Change to navy blue double knit (on right side).
Knit 23cm (9 inches) garter stitch.
Change to demin blue double knit (on RS).
Knit 20cm (8 inches) garter stitch.
Change to light blue lace weight (on RS).
Knit 26cm (10 inches) garter stitch.
Bind off.
Fold the light blue over so that you create a double thickness and use matching yarn to stitch in place.
Sew the ends together with yarn to make the cowl.
