This vintage style tippet is knitted in yarn with a beautiful blend of fine and thick texture.
When finished it measures approximately: 69cm x 38cm (27 inches x 15 inches).
You will need:
1 50g ball of double knit yarn that has a mix of colours and thickness.
30cm (12 inches) gold ribbon.
Knitting needles size 10mm (UK 000. US 15).
Method:
Cast on 30 stitches.
Knit rows of garter stitch (knit stitches, no purl) until the tippet measures 69cm (27 inches).
Bind off.
Make the ties for the tippet:
Thread gold ribbon through both edges of the tippet to tie the front together.
