Bluebell Scarf

The scarf is knitted in bluebell rib. There is a pattern for a Bluebell & Crocus Cloche Hat to go with it, and a Bluebell & Crocus Poncho.

The scarf is 20cm (8 inches) wide. You can make it as long as you want. I knitted this one until it was 102cm (40 inches) long.

You will need:

Bluebell colour double knit yarn.
Knitting needles size 6mm (UK 4. US 10).

Method:

Cast on 37 stitches.
Row 1 – P2, *K3, P2*. Repeat * to the end of the row.
Row 2 – K2, *P3, K2*. Repeat * to the end of the row.
Row 3 – as row 1.
Row 4 – as row 2.
Row 5 – P2, *yo (yarn over), sl 1 (slip one stitch), K2tog, psso (pass slipped stitch over), yo, P2*. Repeat * to the end of the row.
Row 6 – as row 2.
Repeat rows 1–6 until the work measures the length you want.
Bind off.
