These easy to knit wrist warmers go well with the Silver & White Bobble Hat.
You will need:
White double knit yarn (I used one with sparkle in it).
Metallic silver yarn.
Silver beads & white thread.
Knitting needles size 4.5mm (UK 7. US 7).
Method:
Cast on 30 stitches using white yarn.
Knit 8 rows of garter stitch (knit stitches, no purl).
Knit 2 rows garter stitch using silver yarn.
Knit 8 rows white.
Knit 2 rows silver.
Knit 8 rows white.
Knit 2 rows silver.
Knit 8 rows white.
Knit 2 rows silver.
Knit 8 rows white.
Bind off.
With right sides together fold the wrist warmer over and use white yarn to stitch the side seam leaving a gap for the thumb. Do this by sewing 10cm (4 inches) from the bottom of the wrist of the warmer and up the side. Leave a gap. Then sew 3cm (1 1/4 inches) from the top down.
Turn the wrist warmer right sides out.
Fold over a small cuff and sew silver beads on to decorate the cuff.
Make two of these.
